Summary Of Position
Ensures that contracts and business agreements with customers reflect management’s goals while protecting Bourns’ interests and limiting risks. Processes Requests For Quotations (RFQ’s) and responds to contract-related inquiries. Obtains business unit approval on varied customer requirements and requests. Synthesizes multi-discipline responses into a uniform and consistent response to the customer, field sales personnel, account managers, business unit management and contracts management. Acts as a central focal point for contractual information and quotations for Bourns internal personnel and field sales representatives. Maintains contract files, related records and documentation, including maintenance of contracts in the SAP system. Prepares Non-Disclosure Agreements and other special agreements such as EDI Agreements.

Duties And Accountabilities
Performs initial review of customer’s contract terms and conditions and prepares suggested responses.
  • Solicits pricing for Master Purchase Order (“MPO”) customers and enters pricing into spreadsheets and SAP as required.
  • Assists in the negotiation and administration of contractual matters between Bourns and its customers as required.
  • Prepares responses to MPO Customers’ request(s) for quotation.
  • Maintains contract documents and records details in SAP, including additions, deletions and/or deviations during the course of the contract.
  • Serves as a reference for individuals needing information regarding Bourns’ contracts.
  • Gathers data pertaining to contract activity and contract performance.
  • Assists in Product Liability matters, upon request.
  • Assists with Export Licensing requirements as needed.
  • EDUCATION:Degree in Business Administration, or related studies from an accredited university is desired.
    TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in Contracts Administration or related field. One (1) or more years of Sales/Marketing experience preferred.
