Key Responsibilities
As our SAP Logistics Process expert, you will be involved in supporting, developing, and managing the global SAP community in this functional area, analysing problem areas and giving advice based on SAP system knowledge and MOG business process knowledge. This will also include working closely with the business to ensure the KPIs are optimized to provide the best overview of the system usage so problems and opportunities are easily recognized.
You will work closely with the SAP process owners to ensure that their initiatives are aligned with the business strategy and SAP Roadmap, of which you will drive the development. The change request management aspect of this role is a large part and will also involve budgeting and prioritization of requirements. You will be responsible for guiding the business on mapping clear requirements in order to solicit the right solutions, all the while ensuring that the solutions which are designed work in a well-integrated way with the other functions. You will work together with a range of solution experts, functional experts and project teams to deliver integrated solutions to the business. Projects that are currently inflight include supply process optimisation, logistics dashboard, inventory standard deployment, logistics dashboard project, repairs and refurbishment project, etc.
As with all of our team members, you will be expected to be a change agent to the business, enabling them via knowledge transfer and process understanding to ensure the system is used optimally.
Who we are looking for
The preferred candidate will already have a solid understanding of the Upstream Oil business processes and a background in SAP MM including IM, WM and RLM. He or she should also have a strong understanding of general SAP fundamentals and how the functions integrate. In particular, the candidate should have functional understanding of the linkages with PM, PS and FICO with the MM module.
The person who sits in this position needs to have a positive attitude and be able to proactively pursue the right tasks in the right priority, whilst juggling a large variety of tasks simultaneously. This person must be excited by change, naturally prone to work as a team player, and willing to get involved and take ownership of a wide variety of challenges.
