HR Total Rewards Senior Consultant SAP Asia Pte Ltd  - Singapore

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Trusted adviser for all Business Units in South East Asia, providing consulting expertise on all aspects of Total Rewards including program design, implementation and communication. Countries include Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan, etc. A member of the APJ Total Rewards team, and a virtual member of the broader global TR community, supporting complex business and geography Total Reward requirements.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Be the TR lead expert advising and counselling HR and managers on all aspects of total rewards. This involves understanding the business dynamics and the part that compensation & benefits plays in managing the attraction and retention of key talents in support of the business.

Partner closely with the lead HR Business Partners across South East Asia, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and other functional experts.
Represent South East Asia and APJ in key global and or regional programs/projects with the aim of introducing a simplified and globally standardised approach within the hub/country or region.
Able to provide C&B thought leadership but not be afraid to also roll out sleeves to support operational work to design compensation and benefits plans/programs, manage projects in SEA Hub, ensure plans and programs are legally compliant, market competitive and cost effective and proactively provide consulting services for emerging business requirements.
Specifically:
· Implementation of global variable pay frameworks and design of regional/hub adaptations as necessary with a strong emphasis on sales compensation plans;
· Design and management of all benefits programs and management of relationship with vendors
· Partner closely with HR and business for the implementation of compensation and benefits plans, programs, and projects.
· General terms and conditions of employment, base pay, fixed allowances, paid time off, health and welfare benefits, insurance, retirement/capital accumulation plans, mandatory benefits and recognition.
· Management of year end activities including annual bonus calculations, salary planning, incentive/bonus plan rollout, and equity allocation.
· Conduct competitive market intelligence/analysis through regular benchmark survey participation and pulse surveys & Maintain an active network of compensation & benefits professional colleagues across the high tech industry and sit in the APITT committee as SAP’s representative   

Desired Skills and Experience

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor or Masters in Business Administration /Human Resources or other relevant discipline from a premier institute
  • Minimum 10-12 years’ experience in compensation & benefits, gaining deep expertise to include all aspects of fixed and variable pay, in a fast paced multinational environment undergoing “Cloud transformation
  • Experience and ability to improvise leadership style according to stakeholders in a sales as well as a development set-up. Strong leadership skills and excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Hands on experience in handling end to end processes related to compensation and benefits delivery for country/region
  • Experience of leading rewards sub-functions across APJ and GC, delivering results across a cross cultural set up
  • In-depth experience and technical expertise in area of compensation including but not limited to Market Survey, Range development, Stock Programs, Expat management.
  • Expertise in Benefits design, communication and management including insured benefits with experience of working with external vendors on benefits administration
  • Experience of working effectively in a complex regional matrix environment with proven ability to deliver on ambitious, complex and multiple parallel priorities/projects.
  • Should have driven improvement/effectiveness initiatives at a business unit level
  • Well versed with ERP internal tools and systems including IPP, Success factors HCM solution.
  • Able to work flexibly including out-of-hours conference calls and some travel
  • Very strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal & written Communication skills are KEY to this role
