Business Intelligence Developer - Middle East (Qatar)

We have an immediate opening for a BI Developer in our Qatar Office to actively participate in the design and development of challenging BI projects involving SAP Business Objects technology as well as ETL, Database & Data Warehouse tools and best practices.

The ideal candidate is a young, motivated BI professional with 1 to 3 years’ experience developing reporting and dashboard solutions using SAP BusinessObjects tools. This person should also be developing his/her knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL and Database Administration practices. The individual is a strong team member committed to learning quickly and contributing to team innovation and customer results and striving for excellence in all of our BI projects.

Desired Skills and Experience

Required Technical Skills & Experience:

• High level of SQL and experience using SQL Server or similar tool is required
• Intermediate knowledge of main SAP BusinessObjects Portfolio tools (WebI, Dashboards, Explorer, etc..) is required
• Understanding of Business Intelligence architecture and 1-3 years of experience working with SAP BusinessObjects platform is required

Desired Technical Skills & Experience:  

• Developing knowledge of ETL processes and experience with an ETL tool is desirable (i.e. SAP Data Services or Informatica PowerCenter)
• Experience with database management is desirable
• Experience with other visualization BI tools (e.g. Tableau, QlikView, Lumira) is desirable
• Experience working within consultancy teams on medium complexity BI customer projects is desirable

• Ability to commit to customer milestones, deadlines and service levels (Fixed Price projects preferred)
• Excellent communicator and very transparent – providing timely updates to Project Manager for project tasks and deadlines
• Customer facing profile with good communication & presentation skills
• Advanced English both written and spoken

• Autonomous thinking and proactive approach to investigating and discovering solutions

Work Environment Requirements:

Education:

• University Level Degree (preferred Engineering or Information Technology degree) is required
• Master in SAP Business Intelligence is desirable
